TSE Starts Here…

The surprise break out event of The Special Event 2010 in New Orleans took place on January 12th and was held at Generations Hall.  The “unofficial” official start to the conference showcased the multi-faceted event space. Located at 310 Andrew Higgins Drive in New Orleans, the building was built in the 1820s as a sugar refinery. Artwork by prominent artists George Schmidt and Xavier deCallatay, depicting the history of New Orleans jazz, filled the space.  It is a cool, modern take on an era gone by.  Guests came in and explored the various rooms, filled with delicious dishes including shrimp and grits, sweets, and more. Sponsors including CORT Event Furnishings, Event Producers, Alamo, Think Tank, Walking Billboards, T Square Services, and MoJeaux!, the band that got everyone on the dance floor non-stop!
